Testimonial

From the moment we toured the property, Ed (the owner) was extremely nice and very accommodating, he drove us around his entire property, showing us multiple options of where we could have our ceremony and reception. Ed explained that he could clear trees, shrubs and brush with any option we decided upon. Ed was very respectful to work with, was not pushy, and down to earth, he made us feel comfortable and was prompt in answering any questions we had. As my wife and I drove away by the time we reached the end of the driveway, we had both stated that Ed’s property was going to be the perfect choice for our special day. The entire process of renting the property and payments was very easy going. One statement that stuck out to me was Ed saying “It’s your farm for the day”. From the minute we arrived the day before our wedding, he was already at work, he had extra people to help us set up and do whatever we needed. The already beautiful property looked even more amazing. We decided to use one of his pastures as our ceremony site, and the barn as our reception area. Ed and his team cleared the pasture of horses, let us use hale bales as pews, and cleaned the grounds of debris, you could not even tell it was a horse pasture. In the barn he turned two of the stalls into bride and groom dressing rooms, you could not tell that they had ever been used as horse stalls before. Ed was around both the day before our wedding and the day of, and never missed a step helping us make our wedding the most special day of our lives. He also allowed us to take photos anywhere on his property and use his own horses to take photos with. He used his side-by-side vehicle to drive my wife from the barn to the ceremony and other guests back and forth. Ed went above and beyond our expectations, we would highly recommend choosing Dabney Farms for your wedding venue, you will not be disappointed.
